Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
As we offer both services (e.g. visa services) and goods (e.g. physical SIM cards) on our platform, the following provisions apply depending on the product booked:
Part A: Withdrawal instructions for services and digital content
(e.g. visa service, home search, relocation services, digital content in the app)
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (WTE Group GmbH, Leo-Leistikow-Allee 18, 22081 Hamburg, Germany, email: info@welcome-to-europe.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online via the withdrawal function at https://wte-companion.com/en/revocation-form ("Withdraw from contract"). If you make use of this option, we will promptly send you a confirmation of receipt of such a withdrawal (e.g. by email).
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested that the service should begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Special notes on the early expiry of the right of withdrawal
In the case of a contract for the provision of services, the right of withdrawal expires early if we have fully performed the service and only began performing the service after you gave your express consent and at the same time confirmed your awareness that you would lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract by us.
In the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires early if we have begun performing the contract after you expressly consented to us beginning the performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period, you confirmed your awareness that by giving your consent you would lose your right of withdrawal upon the beginning of the performance of the contract, and we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract in accordance with Section 312f BGB.
Part B: Withdrawal instructions for the purchase of goods
(e.g. shipping of physical SIM cards)
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
